Second Appointment: After 5 days, your Lumineers will be seated on your teeth, bonded one by one to create a brand new Smile.

FAQS about Lumineers
What are Lumineers?
Lumineers are thin shells of a Strong and Durable material called Cerinate® which requires minimal o no preparation of the teeth and are bonded one by one on your teeth to create a new smile.
How can i know if i am Lumineers® candidate?
There is no age limits for Lumineers®, but there are some limitations: Bruxism, clenching habits, excessively or highly restored teeth, patients with nail bittting habits, patients with edge to edge bites, underbite or side to side bite, Patients with missing teeth or not perfectly aligned teeth.
How strong are Lumineers?
They are made from a strong and durable material (Cerinate®) but like natural teeth, we should avoid strong impacts like aggressive or strong bites. As with natural teeth, enamel can crack as a result of biting hard food, nail biting or by clenching the teeth. In Lumineers it will cause cracks in the ceramic that can cause a fracture or simply gets de-bonded.
How long do i have to stay in Dominican Republic to get Lumineers?
6 to 7 days, after initial consultation and start of the procedure of teeth prep (both usually same day) the lab will start the manufacture of your lumineers which takes 4 to 5 days, after this, the final consultation to bond lumineers to your teeth will take place.
What maintenance does Lumineers need?
Lumineers® require the same maintenance as your natural teeth, so it is always recommended a good oral hygiene, brushing your teeth and flossing as usual.
It is invasive or painful treatment?
Lumineers® procedure its not a painful treatment, its not like an extraction or a surgery, its a cosmetic procedure with require no preparation or minimal preparation.
I heard about non preparation Lumineers, it is true?
Yes, Lumineers® requires no or minimal preparation, but this kind of veneers are indicated only for patients with perfectly aligned teeth.
