We start with tooth preparation and scan digitally your mouth.
With State of the Art digital CAD/CAM dentistry technology at Dr. Alonso´s office we are now offering Single Visit Crowns also called one hour crowns. Crowns, Veneers, Inlays and Onlays are made chairside at Dr. Alonso´s Office in Santo Domingo. No impressions, molds or temporary crowns are required any more. Patient can see the whole process from scanning, designing even watch how their crowns are made with our Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) in our Milling units.
Pioneers in Dominican Republic since 2011 on CAD/CAM Dentistry, we have been using cutting edge technology as Intraoral Scanners so the patient can finally say goodbye to biting on impression material for several minutes to make molds, having a numb mouth and jaw ache. Intraoral cameras saves time and provides comfort to our patients while we capture 3D Images of your full dentition in seconds.
As the name suggests, same day crowns are made by the dentist in the office while you wait. The preparation for a same-day crown is the same as for a traditional crown, but the procedure for application is different.

Scans are used to design the crown with Computer Aided Technology.
Your Crowns are milled using Computer-Aided Technology.
The finished prosthesis is bonded to your teeth.
If you are in good health with sufficiently healthy remaining tooth structure but need a crown to restore a damaged or decayed tooth, you are a candidate for a same-day crown
We use high-quality, biocompatible ceramics to craft your same-day crowns. The crowns are sculpted in our CEREC® milling machine and are extremely durable and natural-looking. The strength of ceramic crowns rivals and surpasses the durability of more traditional materials.
here are several advantages to same-day dental crowns, including efficiency. Traditional crowns usually require multiple visits over several weeks, while same-day crowns are completed in a single appointment. The convenience of same-day crowns eliminates the need for temporary crowns and the inconvenience of multiple dental visits. The CAD/CAM technology and milling machine we use to create your crown ensures an accurate and precise fit every time.
Yes. We choose a ceramic block matching your tooth’s color and place it into our CEREC® milling machine. CEREC® then sculpts the crown utilizing the information from our CAD/CAM software to create a crown that looks and feels natural. No other type of crown more closely resembles your natural teeth.
